- What is the refundable deposit for sourcing a car, and do I get it back?
- A refundable $500 deposit starts the search, and it comes straight off the price of the car you buy. If we cannot find a car that matches what you asked for, you get every dollar of it back. It only applies when we are hunting down a specific car for you — there is no deposit for anything already on our own lot.
- How much does a pre-purchase inspection cost?
- Inspections are billed at $125 per hour. A standard pre-purchase inspection takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. That covers the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, frame and a road test — the same inspection every car on our own lot gets before it is listed.
- Will you repair a car I did not buy from you?
- Yes. The shop at 1222 Barstow Ave does not only work on cars we sold — bringing us a car you bought elsewhere, or one you have owned for years, is normal work for us. Diagnostic time is billed at $125 per hour, and we tell you what we found before we touch anything else.
- What areas do you serve?
- We work with buyers and sellers across Clovis, Fresno and the wider Central Valley. Everything happens at our shop, though — we do not do mobile or roadside work, so bring the car to us, or have it towed in if it cannot make the drive.
